Great place to stay. There are some beautiful hiking trails all around. The village has some nice restaurants if you do not feel like cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Go and visits Balmoral Estate and the Cairn (pyramids), it is a short drive up the road.
Would defiantly recommend and will look at staying again.

This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful.
