This cottage is approached via a maze of winding country roads surrounded by breath-taking landscapes to offer a bolthole for people looking to escape city life and explore the wonders of the broad valley of Strathmore.
Boasting everything you will need for a week long break including an amply equipped kitchen where you will be able to rustle up all of the meals before sinking into the sofa within the sitting room, complete with a good selection of books and games to keep you occupied during a rainy day. After an adventure-filled day, look forward to drifting off within the elegant bedroom which comes with a double bed and access to a shower room, complete with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Enjoy your summer mornings within the enclosed garden area where you can soak up the rural views with your energising coffee.

The Bothy is a detached property resting close to the town of Kirriemuir. Within the ground-floor accommodation, you will find one double bedroom and a shower room complete with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a sitting room with a woodburning stove and an amply equipped kitchen. Outside you will find a small enclosed garden with one off-road parking space. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but sorry, no smoking. The Bothy promises a wonderful escape to a rural location. Note: Short Breaks will not be accepted if they overlap our Saturday change over,7 night bookings must also start on Saturday .

The Bothy is a lovely place to stay. Cosy & comfortable, with a stunning outlook. Sue & Iain are friendly & helpful. Very knowledgeable about the local area & where to find nice walks & places to visit & eat. A real home from home. I will definitely be back.

We had an amazing break. Su and Ian were brilliant, full of local knowledge,nothing was too much trouble for them. The Bothy had absolutely everything we needed and more. Fantastic location, with wildlife galore, excellent walks, highly recommended.

A really lovely property in a great place for walks and days out.
The hosts are friendly and helpful without being invasive and gave us some great tips for walks.
Everything in the house is so well thought out and you can see the care that has been put into everything. The log fire was especially wonderful on the snowy evenings.
We will definitely be back!
