The Old Mill is a unique 2 storey apartment located in a converted mill nestled in the heart of the historic city of York. The property boasts superb features including the original exposed brick walls and timber beams and has been fully refurbished.

The property can be accessed from the famous Shambles via the Tudor buildings in Lady Peckett’s Yard passage or from the vibrant Fossgate, an ancient street packed with independent shops, bars, live music, restaurants and attractions.

The apartment was very cute and lots of fun extras, like the keyboard (our son is raking piano lessons, so he was excited to practice). Perfectly located for restaurants and shopping marts. Only drawback was, you better be an early riser and late nighter because the alley is quite loud. Would still stay again, despite the noise.

The apartment was brilliant, fantastic location and very quirky. Bed was comfy and very good amenities. The only thing I would say is it could do with a deep clean, under sofa bed was dirty and cobwebs behind furniture etc. The main parts were clean but just needs a deep clean every now and again. ...
