The Mews is a cosy former coach house to the Georgian main house located in Valley Truckle just a few miles as the crow flies from north Cornwall's finest beaches and a stone's throw from Bodmin Moor (walk from your front door). Its location just a 100 yards from the A39 also puts the rest of Cornwall in striking distance should you wish to take a day trip anywhere from The Eden Project to St Ives in the west. The space also has the bonus of a large sunny garden should you wish to just chill.
Please note Bedroom 1 is available with a super king bed or two singles. Bedroom 2 with a king sized bed or two singles.
Valley Truckle is a small hamlet on the edge of Camelford an historic market town. The area is the gateway to Bodmin Moor, but also boasts numerous beaches in the local area some of which are pictured.
It is an ideal location for family holidays or for those who love space and the outdoors whether that be surfers, walkers, cyclists, golfers or horse riders.
Public transport is limited so a car is a good option. Cycling is extremely popular and the are offers everything from a safe, flat family cycle on the Camel Trail to routes that would challenge professional cyclists. There are also two dedicated mountain bike tracks at Cardingham Woods and Lanhydrock House.
Guests have access to a large back garden and BBQ. Storage for bikes/surfboards etc and off road parking available on request. Please note the garden contains a small pond and young children will require supervision.

Would highly recommend a stay at The Mews. Lovely accommodation with great hosts. Ideal base for lots of very local attractions.

The Mews is a good base to stay in to be able to explore the surrounding areas and attractions of beautiful Cornwall. It is clean and tidy with everything that you need for self catering. The only thing we would say is that it could do with a bit of a refresh/update. Mark was really friendly and helpful with all his local knowledge. Would definitely recommend.

Such a perfect location, roughly half an hour to so many places. I loved being able to sit in the garden, reading my book in the peaceful surroundings of Marks accommodation. Everything you need for self catering. Fab friendly hosts.
