Grange Lodge is perfectly located in the heart of the Cotswold Lakes / Cotswold Water Park.
This charming two-storey lodge offers stunning lake views, a peaceful setting, and easy access to the many outdoor activities the area is famous for, making it ideal for families, couples, and small groups. With direct lake views, outdoor seating, and space for alfresco dining and BBQs, this lodge is the perfect base for exploring South Cerney, the Cotswold Water Park, and nearby Cirencester. Our small business can be as attentive or as distant as you choose.
We have prepared a comprehensive guest folder with all the information we feel may be useful to you, which also provides contact details for the house managers who will be happy attend the property should the need arise.
We just want your stay with us to be relaxed and hassle free. The lodge is set within well-maintained communal gardens on the Spring Lake development in South Cerney, a popular village within the Cotswold Water Park, just a short drive from Cirencester. On-site & nearby: • Lakeside Brasserie bar and restaurant approximately 100 yards away • Enclosed timber children’s play area • 10 mph speed limit throughout the site • CCTV in communal areas for added security • Three traditional pubs in South Cerney village, all within walking distance • Co-Op, One Stop convenience stores, and a popular fish & chip shop, ideal for takeaway evenings on the deck Walking & Outdoors: • Numerous scenic lakeside and countryside walks directly from the lodge • Dog-friendly routes ideal for families and pets • Easy access to cycling paths and nature trails Exploring the Area: The Cotswold Water Park spans over 150 lakes across more than 40 square miles, offering activities for all ages, including: • Kayaking, canoeing, sailing, swimming, paddleboarding • Wakeboarding, waterskiing, and inflatable water parks • Angling, birdwatching, cycling, and walking routes • Horse riding, golf courses, nature reserves, and picnic areas The historic market town of Cirencester is nearby, offering boutique shopping, cafés, restaurants, and attractions such as Cirencester Park and the Corinium Museum. Pets - allowed How to get here: Airport: Bristol: 45 miles Railway: Kemble: 4 miles, Swindon: 11 miles By car (recommended): From M4 or the South - Leave the M4 at Junction 15 (Swindon) and head North on the A419 for about 14 miles.
Take the B4696 signposted Ashton Keynes / South Cerney / Cerney wick.
Take the first left at the roundabout onto the Spine Road East.
Follow this for just over half a mile, passing Isis / Windrush Lakes on your right and The Four Pillars Hotel on your left.
After passing Summer Lake on your left, take the next right (Station Road), signposted for South Cerney, the Lakeside and the Watermark.
After a few hundred meters, take the first left into the development, when through the gates follow the road around to the right, 68 Spring Lake is about 100 meters on the left. From the M5 or North – Leave the M5 southbound at junction 11A onto the A417.
Take the third exit at the roundabout after a few miles continuing on the A417.
Stay on the A417 / A419 for 15 miles passing Cirencester.
Leave the A419 following signs for South Cerney and the Cotswold Water Park.
Head right over the flyover and straight on at the second roundabout following signs for the Watermark and Cotswold Water Park.
Follow this road (Spine Road East) for just over half a mile, passing Isis / Windrush Lakes on your right and The Four Pillars Hotel on your left.

Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt in diesem gemütlichen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus, haben die traumhafte Landschaft, die herrlichen Parks, die ruhige Umgebung genossen, schöne alte englische Städtchen besucht.... Und den Kamin bollern lassen. Gerne kommen wir eines Tages wieder.
